Characteristics:

The slender, translucent white, body may reach a length of little more than 3 cm. Two brilliant, white lines are running along the dorsal side. The fringed gills are organized in four to six pairs. The translucent foot is lobed in the front and pointed at the back of the animal.

Habitat:

Tritonia lineata is known to feed on soft corals and horn corals. The normal depth range is from sublittoral to 120 meters.

Distribution:

It is known from the coasts of Europe, from Trøndelag, Norway to the Mediterranean.
