Characteristics:
The length of this nudibranch does not exceed 15 mm. The white-spotted cerata with the green content is characteristic. The dark jaws can be seen through the semi-translucent head.
Habitat:
It is known to feed on hydroids like Serturella rugosa and S. gayi. It is usually found in exposed or semi-exposed, shallow locations.
Distribution:
D. viridis is known from the East Atlantic Ocean, from France to Scandinavia, the British Isles and Iceland.
