Characteristics:
The length of the translucent, white speckled body, is less than 3 cm. A low keel runs down the middle of the back, continued by another keel on the "tail". A white pigmented stripe may follow the keel, both on the back and the "tail".
Habitat:
G. nodosa can be found from the sublittoral zone and down to 120 meters depth.
Distribution:
It is registered from Spain and as far north as Nordland, Norway, including the British Isles.
