Characteristics:
The flattened body may reach a length of 4 cm. It has approximately 50 waving ridges on the back. The color is pale brown with a reddish tint.
Habitat:
Armina loveni is known to feed solely on the sea pen Virgularia mirabilis, and thrives on the same muddy, sheltered locations. It is not often seen, as it burrows into the soft sediments.
Distribution:
It is registered from Norway to France, including the British Isles.
