Characteristics:
It can grow to a length of 25 mm. In the back of the head there is a large spine. The first body segment has one spine, the second segment has three. The following segments have a variable number of tubercles. Under the third and fourth segment there are small gills.
Habitat:
This skeleton shrimp is usual sublittoral and most frequent on large hydroids.
Distribution:
It is common in along the coasts of Norway, the North Sea and the British Isles.
