Characteristics:
This worm has a short and broad, translucent body of up to 34 segments, in addition to a tail. The body length can reach 4 cm, including the tail. The tail may be missing in young specimens. It has two long, orange antennas.
Habitat:
It is pelagic and is usually found near the coast.
Distribution:
It can be found in the North Atlantic Ocean and in the Mediterranean.
